About HEather LaGarde
Heather LaGarde has spent 30 years getting the voices and ideas of incredible people on stages and platforms around the world. From global conferences to international film festivals, video production, concerts, music festivals, art shows, webinars, markets and microlabs, Heather has served as an Executive Producer, Strategic Planner, Event Designer, Talent Booker, Senior Partnership Advisor and guide for organizations such as the SwitchPoint Global Conference, The Global Fund, IntraHealth International, War Child and Human Rights Watch. She is the founder & owner of the award winning music venue, the Haw River Ballroom and has served as a key negotiator and advisor for policy, planning, community organization, environmental concerns, revitalization and development in the historic village of Saxapahaw, North Carolina, where she resides. She serves as the head of the boards of multiple arts organizations and maintains strong relationships with a diverse array of allies and connections in the tech, music, humanitarian, scientific, art, media, and environmental industries.
